I build B2B SaaS products and run the operations behind them.
Currently Business Owner at KROS, leading a 10-person team building the next wave of digital products for 100,000 plus SME customers. Previously COO at Allfred.io, where I grew the business from zero to 180k ARR across eight European markets.

I am looking for the next role where a small team can move the needle in 18 months.
From Q3 2026 onwards. Open to relocation. EU citizen, no sponsorship needed.
Short consulting engagements that help teams adopt AI without losing the humans.
Outside the day job
Founder of FitKiddo
A skills radar for young athletes. In pilot with Slovak ski academies since early 2025. Built solo using Lovable, Claude Code, and Vercel.
What I am open to next
B2B SaaS, small team, real ownership. Available from Q3 2026 onwards. Open to relocation across the EU.
How I think
Analytical by default, builder by habit.
I think before I act and I take full ownership of what I commit to. I do my best work in small teams where the relationships are real and the problems are worth solving. I write the spec, I run the discovery, I sit in support tickets when I need to, and I am happy to ship the rough version on Monday so the team has something to react to on Tuesday. My PhD was in quantitative modelling, so I bring that same rigour to product decisions and ops design, but the work itself is direct and unprecious.
CliftonStrengths Top 5: Analytical, Achiever, Connectedness, Responsibility, Futuristic. The translation, in plain English: I look for the cause before I propose the fix, I ship every week, I see how the parts of a system reinforce each other, I deliver what I commit to, and I plan for where the team needs to be in twelve months.
Selected work

Track record
Working with me
These are public recommendations from people I have worked with as a peer, a manager, a direct report, a client, or a mentor. Lightly trimmed. Full versions on LinkedIn.
“Matej has a really broad view of the business side, startups, marketing, positioning, and more importantly, he is good at cutting through noise. He names the actual problem instead of dancing around it, and he is even faster at figuring out, okay, so what is next. Honestly, the best collaboration I have had in this kind of role.
“Matej is the person you want for your B2B SaaS growth. He is driven, mission oriented, has a warrior, goal-oriented mindset and does not shy away from the challenge. Matej combines tactical execution with a collaborative spirit. People trust him because he shares credit, asks for input, and backs others.
“Matej is the kind of product manager every SaaS company wishes they had. As a generalist co-founder of a SaaS company, Matej has hands-on experience in sales, marketing, customer support, VC reporting, and more. He does not just understand the role of a product manager, he understands the entire business.
“Matej is one of the most consummate professionals I have ever met. Whenever any complication arose, he was always readily available to help and resolve the issue. Matej does not need instructions, he creates them himself and forges his own paths to achieve his goals. Anyone fortunate enough to have Matej on their team will be extremely happy.
“Matej is a powerhouse. As COO of Allfred.io and my key partner on this project, he brings relentless drive and a work ethic that is hard to match. With the determination and focus of a former pro ski racer, Matej tackles every challenge step by step, as though success were the only option.
“Matej not only excelled in his role as COO but also led the development team during key projects, demonstrating exceptional leadership and organizational skills. Despite his high-level responsibilities, he always made time to support the team with a human and approachable attitude.
Three ways to work with me on AI
Sometimes the right move is not a hire. It is a short, precise engagement that gets a team through a specific change. I do this in three formats, alongside my full-time work.
A working AI tool for a specific workflow
I scope the workflow with the team, build the tool on Lovable or v0, ship it in two to three weeks, and hand it over with documentation the team can maintain. Fixed scope. Fixed price.
Half-day session for product and ops teams
A practical session for ten to twenty people. We map the team's workflow, find the genuine AI fits, and leave with two prototypes the team can keep using. No slideware. No theory.
Mindset shift, human first
Six weekly sessions with a leadership team to set the AI policy, agree on what stays human, and put a small rhythm in place that gets the change to stick. For teams where AI has been bolted on but not adopted.
